Why should you take your pet to the vet?

Disease rates in cats compared to humans

Based on VMDB - Veterinary Medical Database - at Purdue University.  Number of diagnoses in the population of 20696 cats seen by veterinary teaching hospitals. Rates for AIDS, Heart Disease Deaths, and Measles from U.S. Center for Disease Control.  Malignancy diagnoses from American Cancer Society.

These charts demonstrate that disease is much more common in felines than in human beings.  If you see your doctor once a year, it certainly make sense to get your pet to the vet once a year too.

Make sure to...
Take your pet to the vet at least once a year for a checkup
for your pet's sake!
