The Montgomery County SPCA is not affiliated with the Montgomery County Humane Society (the county's public shelter). We receive no funding from the county or from the ASPCA. We are an independent, local organization funded completely by private donations and dedicated to the no-kill philosophy.

We are also an all-volunteer organization. Since we have no paid staff, all funds go directly to helping the animals by providing food, vet care, supplies, and adoption advertising. If you can find it in your heart and budget to make a monetary donation to the MCSPCA, no matter how small, it will help the animals tremendously.  If you would like to donate in other ways, we are always in need of volunteers and foster homes. 

The MCSPCA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Here's how you can help:

1. Donate online.  We accept online donations through Network For Good.  Click on the logo below, put Montgomery County SPCA in the keywords box and choose Maryland in the state box and click search!



If you are making an online donation in honor or memory of a person or pet, please send us an email with your name, and the name and address of the person/pet you are donating in honor/memory of so we can send them a letter. This information is not provided to us by Network For Good.

2. Donate by mail.  If you prefer to donate by mail, please send your donation to:
